I’ll be in L.A. this weekend playing a couple of shows, one will be a free show at USC, Tommy’s Place (near Campus Center) at 8:30 PM on Friday night (Oct 14th). The other is TBA. Also visiting the Artwalk in Downtown L.A., and Disneyland. Lot’s of great stuff planned for November (Florida- Frank Brown Songwritiers Festival), including tracking 2 new LPs, and instrumental LP, and an acoustic LP (stripped versions of my most requested songs). http://www.tommysplaceusc.com

Big news for ALL Kamuela Kahoano friends and fans. Three nights ago I took home the Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Best Rock Album (Stream Dreams) of the year, 2011. This is like winning a Grammy on a statewide level. Now I’m looking forward to all that’s to come! And alot more music is on the way! Huge thanks to all supporters and Aloha to all!

The Hokus are a week away! Stream Dreams has been nominated in the Best Rock category of the 2011 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards…sort of like the Grammy’s of Hawaii-derived music. Also “Analogic” the band (I play the role of lead singer) was nominated in the Best EP Release category. There is fierce competition in the rock category this year because half of the nominees are bands I personally admire (Donavan Frankenrieter, Friends of Adam, Sabrina…). Best of luck to all!
